Biography

Veterinary doctor and diplomate of the ECPHM, he began his career in the swine industry, managing health, production, and R&D at CEFUSA. Later, he joined the University of Murcia, where he is a Tenured Professor and Head of the Department of Animal Production. He is Co-PI of research groups with a strong track record in scientific publications and collaboration with the swine industry. Specialist in studies on swine digestive pathology and xenotransplantation.

Biografía

Doctor en Veterinaria y diplomado del ECPHM, inició su carrera en la industria porcina donde gestionó sanidad, producción e I+D+i en CEFUSA. Posteriormente, se incorporó a la Univ. de Murcia, donde es Profesor Titular y dirige el Departamento de Producción Animal. Es Co-IP de grupos de investigación con amplia trayectoria en publicaciones científicas y colaboración con la industria porcina. Especialista en estudios sobre patología digestiva porcina y xenotrasplante.
